Yes. The free tier includes a monthly allowance of scans and local-only storage. Upgrading to Pro removes scan limits and enables cloud sync and deadline reminders.

Do you store my documents?

Accepted Answer

No. The original document image or PDF is discarded after analysis. Only the structured AI result (summary, deadlines, action items) is saved — locally for free users, in EU-hosted Postgres for Pro users.

Which countries are supported?

Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, and Romania at launch. Sweden and Czechia are next.

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Ukrainian, and several others — pick your preferred language and Docgate replies in it regardless of the original document language.

Can I share a document with my partner or advisor?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pro accounts get unlimited read-only share links; the 5-scan pack includes up to 3 active links. Links expire after 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, can be password-protected, and can be locked to a specific recipient email with a one-time verification code. Revoke any link in one tap from Settings → Active shares.

Will Docgate remind me before a deadline?

Every paid scan exports to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook in one click. High-urgency deadlines get tiered alarms (7 days, 1 day, 3 hours). Medium-urgency gets 3 days + 1 day. Reminders fire from your own calendar app even when Docgate is offline.
